Receptionist
Position Description
The receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors to the community by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring their inquiries. Additional responsibilities include incoming and outgoing mail as well as ordering and maintaining general office supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets and directs staff, faculty, students, and visitors at the front desk.
- Answers in a timely manner (three rings) and manages the multi-line phone system.
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail.
- Oversees student workers who deliver student mail and cover the front desk.
- Assigns and maintains mailboxes for staff, faculty, and students.
- Creates and maintains the phone directory each semester.
- Performs various clerical functions including filing and making copies.
- Assist staff, faculty, and students with copy machine as needed.
- Maintains spreadsheets for the copy machines and meter machine for each floor, as well as run monthly reports.
- Orders and maintains general office supplies and letterhead.
- Schedules conference rooms as requested.
- Handles multiple projects as assigned.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Possesses excellent communication and organization skills.
- Exhibits a positive, friendly demeanor.
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred.

Salary / Compensation
This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with education and experience and includes a generous benefits package.
