Degree Competencies
Students who complete the Organizational Management program at Bethany University will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of group processes and communication and their relationship to organizations.
- Demonstrate the ability to write professionally in a variety of business styles and formats using research and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrate an understanding of different leadership styles, management processes and skills and their impact on subordinate and organizational performance that influence organizational effectiveness.
- Develop a more complete strategy for life management with effective goals and priorities and how to excel as a leader.
- Understand and be able to use financial principles related to economics, accounting, marketing and financial analysis for fundamental business management.
- Understand the role and components of the personnel function; its development, characteristic organizational structure as well as the planning and forecasting processes necessary.
- Demonstrate ability to critically evaluate factual situations as opposed to applicable ethical considerations and law
- Understand the legal rights and social forces inherent in our American legal environment, the nature of contractual arrangements, their elements, the rights and duties of contractual parties, and the remedies for their breach.
