Online Education at Bethany

eBethany, Bethany University’s on-line program, is designed for people who want to complete an accredited Bachelor of Arts Degree without relocating to a college campus. This alternative to a traditional college education allows people with full-time responsibilities to work toward a B.A. degree in a way that is compatible with their every day life.

Students can also register for classes without ever leaving home.  Our support staff assists with choosing courses, answering technology related questions and providing access to student information on-line. The Bethany bookstore provides students the opportunity to order textbooks through their on-line bookstore.

Many of the courses offered provide students with interactive opportunity, enhancing their learning experience. Learning is facilitated by instructors with a Christian world-view who understand and are involved in todays corporate, church and academic worlds.

How does the Program Work?

  • Students register online.
  • Individual courses are delivered electronically through various formats.
  • No campus attendance of any kind is required.
  • Each student receives access to “FirstClass,” the University’s tool for email, conferencing, course work submission and online collaboration.
  • Orientation and program resources are provided by email and through the eBethany website.
  • Regular weekly contact with instructors is required and is facilitated by chat rooms, threaded discussions, email, and/or conferencing.
  • Students secure a proctor to oversee tests for those courses which required closed book exams.
