Paying for eBethany


Paying for college may seem like a daunting task. We have staff members available to assist you through the process. Here are several ways that students can pay for their eBethany courses:

 

• Institutional Scholarships

 

Academic Scholarships

 

The following scholarships may be available for academically eligible students enrolled in 6 or more units:

- Up to 10% of tuition for students entering with a cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.5

- Up to 20% of tuition for students entering with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.

 

Ministerial and/or Missionary Scholarships

 

The following scholarships are available for eligible ministers and their dependents:

- Up to 10% of tuition for ministers

- Up to a 50% of tuition for Assemblies of God missionaries

- Up to a 50% of tuition for NCN District Assemblies of God ministers

 

• Government Grants and Loans

 

Cal Grant

 

State grant available to eligible California Residents

Pell Grant

 

Federal grant available to students who meet the financial need criteria

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

 

Federal grant available to students with exceptional financial need

Federal Loans

 

Most students who are enrolled in six or more units can receive federal government student loans. The low interest federal student loans offered are the Perkins Loan, the Federal Direct Subsidized Loan and the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

• Veteran Benefits

Available to veterans or eligible family members - contact the Bethany University Veterans Coordinator

• Employer Benefits

Contact your HR office to see if tuition benefits are available. We will provide verification of registration and grades to your employer.

• Payment Plans

Interest free payment plans can be arranged with the Office of Student Accounts.

 

To determine your eligibility for financial aid, including any available scholarships, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be completed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.  More detailed information regarding financial aid is available here.
