Information for Graduates 2008

Dates to Remember

  • Friday, May 2nd: Graduation Rehearsal begins at 9:00 AM in Craig Chapel on Bethany campus.  Rehearsal is Mandatory for all those who are participating in the ceremony.
  • Friday, May 2nd: Graduates Brunchwill immediately follow the Graduation Rehearsal in the Bethany Cafe from approximately 10:30-11:30 AM.  This meal is compliments of the Senior Class Officers and the Alumni Association who are welcoming you as their newest members.
  • Friday May 2nd: Baccalaureate Service will be held in Craig Chapel on Bethany Campus at 7:30 PM.  Graduates need to meet in Bethany Cafe at 7:00 PM for line up.
  • Saturday, May 3rd:  Commencement at 10:00 AM at Bethel Church.  Line-up will begin at 9:00 AM in the Bethel Church Life Center Gymnasium.

Photography

Bethany University enlist the services of Bob Knight Photo as our official Commencement photographers for the 2008 ceremony.  Each participating graduate will have a photo taken with the President as they receive their diploma cover as well as when they exit the stage.  Photo proofs will be sent to the graduate within a week after the ceremony. Commencement photos can be purchased from http://www.bobknightphoto.com/  General guidelines for commencement photos can be viewed at http://www.bobknightphoto.com/GraduateInfo.asp

Cap and Gown

If you completed an Application for Graduation and were approved for participation in the Spring 2008 ceremonies regalia has been purchased for you.  Caps and Gowns will be available for pick up from the Registrar's Office during the week of April 28th through May 2nd.  For those unable to pick up their regalia during the week they will be available at Baccalaureate and Commencement.  If you are not returning in Summer 2008 or Fall 2008 an exit form needs to be completed prior to receipt of your regalia.
