So what do other students have to say about the program?

"The reason that I chose to study communication is because of the multiple opportunities that await me upon graduation. As someone who thrives on writing funny scripts and speaking in public, a Communication degree is perfect! The instructors in the department are great, and I would recommend the major to anyone."

"The classes in the Communications program are fun, interactive, and allow you to be creative."

-Delia Gonzales, Public Relations Specialist

"The Communications program more than prepared me for life and work outside of college, especially in a fast, ever changing, multi-cultural environment.

I have a better knowledge of how people think and talk with others, I can speak in conference meetings successfully, and am more aware of the different cultures I come into contact with on a daily basis and can communicate with those cultures accordingly.

In my first week at my new job, I was asked if I could write a radio ad! I jumped at the opportunity to put my degree to good use. I am the Marketing Coordinator for a Commercial Real Estate Firm and there is no way I would have been as prepared for my current position without the Communications program led by Professor James H. Stewart."

-Justyn Edwards, Marketing Coordinator

"The Director of the Communications Department was excellent. He really took the time to make sure I got what I needed to become a Television News reporter. Overall, the Communications Department opened doors for me that led me to where I am today."

-Kyriaki Rossi, TV News Reporter, CBS

"I wanted a degree in theater, and the Communications major seemed like a strange way to go about it. But I have learned a great deal from the classes I have and the information I have gained will continue to be helpful in the future."
