         The Music Department at BU provides musical training of the highest quality to prepare students for leadership in the church and society and represents the University through musical performance on and off campus.

        We are committed to leading students to musical maturity in an environment of nurture and challenge. We attempt to balance the inspirational, practical, and theoretical so that the students are prepared to perform artistically as well as understand the structures and theories of music. We believe everyone should be able to participate in the music program and are committed to providing the tools and opportunities to enable success.
