Mission of Bethany's Program
The MS in Clinical Psychology has a mission in mind. We are looking for committed, compassionate, and capable men and women to take on the challenge of graduate studies in psychology.
Our goal is to prepare competent and caring professionals in the discipline of psychology, those who would become the counselors, psychotherapists, administrators, educators, program directors, and mental health experts of the world's social institutions.
In addition to professional excellence, our mission is to view the discipline of psychology from the lens of the Christian faith. We believe that Christian men and women are called by God into the unique ministry of human services, whether in the public or private sectors. Bethany's program emphasizes personal spiritual reflection, intentional theological integration in coursework, and an ethic of servant leadership.
We believe that those who demonstrate both personal and professional integrity are the most effective clinicians.
