Applying to Bethany
CPAC Admissions Requirements
- Religious Experience: A definite experience of Christian conversion is essential for admission to Bethany University. It is strongly recommended that the incoming student has been a practicing Christian not less than one year before admission. Students who have not received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will be encouraged to seek and receive the experience. It is expected that all applicants shall be in sympathy with the doctrinal statement contained elsewhere in this catalog.
- Education: Applicants must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. High school graduation or the equivalent is not generally required of students who have earned 60 or more semester college credits or an advanced degree from a regionally accredited institution. If you have not earned at least an AA degree or have less than 60 credits, you will need to submit evidence of high school graduation. Applicants who have attended other institutions of higher education are expected to be in good standing and eligible to enroll in the last school attended. A "C" average is the minimum acceptable for admission. Applicants who do not meet this minimum standard will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and may be: 1) denied admission or 2) admitted with restrictions and placed on academic probation. Probation may be lifted by satisfactory scholastic achievement.
Bethany University reserves the right to reject any applicant for any reason it may consider valid. Admission to the college does not guarantee acceptance to individual programs.
