Dan and Kathy StumpDan Stump attended Bethany Bible College from 1968 to 1972. Kathy attended from '68 to '70. They both were members of the band and the Ambassadors. They were married in 1970. In 1972, Dan began teaching at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville where he directed the traveling choir, the Joyful Sound. It was here in 1972 that their daughter Kristin was born. Kristin later graduated from Bethany, got her teaching credential and was a member of the first Masters in Education. From 1974 until 1977 they were in Southern California where they served with Bethany alumni Skip Mabery. Dan became a licensed minister of the Assemblies of God in 1976. ~In 1977, they had the privilege of joining the staff of Neighborhood Church in Modesto CA, where they were mentored by Pastor Roy Blakeley. From 1983 to now, they have served as Assemblies of God missionaries. They have served in Italy, Malta and Spain. They are currently living in Barcelona, Spain pastoring the International Church of Barcelona.

 

Alice WilsonAlice Wilson Alford graduated from the then, Glad Tidings Bible Institute in 1951. It was the first class on the Bethany Park campus. She served during her student years as librarian, and later taught in the public schools of California for 34 years.

 

 

 

Garland CovingtonGarland Covington graduated from Bethany in 1951. From 1944 to 1959 1944 to 1959 there were 4 of his 5 brothers and sisters that attended Bethany. He has been in the ministry since the 60�s. Garland is Regional Director of Home Missions in Region V of Northern California and Nevada District and serves as a member of the District Mission Broad of District affiliate Churches.
