The Redhawk season came to an end Saturday against Bethany University at Harvey West Field in Santa Cruz. Because of rain Friday that canceled the scheduled doubleheader the decision was made to play a tripleheader on Saturday.

The Redhawks fell in the first game 9-4 giving up two runs in each of the first three innings and never being able to catch up despite scoring a pair of runs in both the 4th and 5th innings.

In game two Simpson fell 5-1 giving up 4 runs in the first before they shut Bethany down. Unfortunately Bethany stifled the Redhawk bats and held them to a single run in the 6th inning.

In the final game of the season pitcher Brad Hurn turned in another great performance giving up only solo runs in the 4th and 5th but again Simpson couldn't score and they lost 2-0.
