2007: Horick enters his second year in the Bruin program as a utility type infielder. Will battle for the starting spot at second base. Has showed the ability to be very steady at the plate and very consistent on defense. |

2006: In his freshman year, Horick emerged as the teams’ most reliable offensive option in the second half of the season. Moved from the ninth spot to the lead off spot and was an everyday player at third base. Big games came against San Jose State where Horick was 2 for 3 with two doubles and Whitworth where he was 4 for 4 with two doubles |

High School: Austin prepped at Huntington Beach High School for Coach Benjamin Medura. While at Huntington, Horick had an excellent career at the plate, as well as defensively. High School highlight was when Austin hit a walk off grand slam in a game with a playoff berth on the line.

Personal: Austin James Horick was born on September 18th, 1985 in Fountain Valley, California. He has a sister, Berlin (15). His parents are Jim and Teri Horick. Majoring in Liberal Arts. Hobbies outside of baseball include music, video games, and surfing.
