2007: Raichart enters his second and final year as a Bruin and will start in right field and see time on the mound. Has proven himself as a steady hitter with big time power. On the mound, Raichart will see a lot of time. Features an upper 80’s fastball from a low three-quarters arm angle with an excellent changeup.

2006: As a junior, Raichart carried the Bruins single handedly at times. Hit .340 in 147 at bats with 3 homeruns, one of the homeruns a game winner vs. #2 Chico State. Also threw 9.1 innings on the mound. In a double header against Whitworth on 3/24, Raichart was 6 for 8. Was also 3 for 5 with two doubles against San Jose State on 3/18.

Junior College: Raichart played two years of Junior College ball at Santa Rosa Junior college in Santa Rosa, California under Coach Damon Neidlinger. At Santa Rosa, Raichart saw time in the outfield and served as a closer. As a freshman, Raichart converted six saves and was a 2004 pre season All American. Hit .330 as a sophomore.

High School: Raichart Prepped at Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa, California for Coach Steve Tagnolli. A two time letter winner, Raichart posted a .430 batting average as well as 6-1 record with a 2.30 ERA. Was named the 2002 North Coast Region player of the year. Two time first team all league selection. |

Personal: David Michael Raichart was born on March 25th, 1984 in Englewood, Colorado. He has six brothers, Matt (24), Jonathon (33), Chris (34), Colin (37), Patrick (37), and Tom (41). His parents are Melvin Raichart and Mariann DeCroes. Majoring in Social Science. Hobbies outside of baseball include working on his car and Fire Science. Will be marrying his fiancé Jamie in August of 2007. Lists sports hero as Don Mattingly.
