Bruins Wrap Up Another Win

Sept. 15- After getting their first league win of the season the Bruins hoped to put up another CalPac win in the standings as they took on Mills College Friday night. After winning the first game in convincing fashion the Lady Bruins went on to win the match in three straight games (30-17, 30-27, and 30-23). Although they were challenged in second game that marked the only time that the Lady Bruins were ever trailing as they established a comfortable lead in both the first and third games. Andrea Olmstead led the Bruins in kills with 8 while Brittany Francis and Katelin McQueen had 7 apiece. Katie Perry had another consistent outing setting up her teammates for 35 assists on the night. Emily White led the way on the defensive side of the net with 13 digs. Christie Holck was second on the team with 8. The Bruins (3-1, 2-0 CalPac) will take on Holy Names (1-2 CalPac) Saturday night as they look to remain unbeaten in conference play.
