Back in high gear and focused

Lady Bruins will be seen and heard this year
We are back in the swing of things and on November 11th we will begin one of the most exciting basketball seasons in the history of Bethany. After Dan Mooney replaced Steve Sein four years ago he had to rebuild the women’s program. The one scholarship/varsity player recruited by Steve Sein is approaching her fourth and final year of varsity basketball. Despite her terrible accident, tearing her ACL after five games, Jennifer Mooney is determined to come back better than when she left. She is only 160 points away from 1,000 career points. She is supported by three underclassmen that had to grow up quickly last year: Shennel Beasley, Vanessa Irving, and Sarah Kritscher; all of which were All-Conference players just a year ago. But, that’s not all! We have been truly blessed here at this school to bring in four great freshman ladies. Jillian Mooney, Heather Mazza, Candice Rochin, and Rosemary Brown are joined by Chavon Lamons, who is a transfer from Canada. Also returning are Kristina Gates and Adriana Rodriguez. Please come out to cheer these Ladies on and pray that they can stay free from injury as well as witness for the Lord through their sports
