Student Leadership

Finding your inner leader

Here’s what Bethany’s mission says about leadership:

The University is committed to encouraging the skills, values, and ethical conduct that will result in its graduates exerting a positive influence in any given environment.

From SLAP (Student Leadership Annual Preparation) Week, leadership training that starts prior to fall semester, academic courses in leadership, leadership retreats and tests that will help illuminate your personality and leadership qualities, you will learn more about yourself and your leadership qualities than you ever dreamed.

Then put those leadership skills to work! Take on opportunities to lead in the residence halls, student government, debate, music, ministry development or Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). These are the activities where you will hone your newfound abilities and see what it means to be a strong and ethical leader.
